The Opportunity

As a Senior Platform Engineer, you will lead the design and implementation of our cloud infrastructure and platform architecture. You’ll oversee the full technology stack, from development to production, ensuring scalability, security, and reliability for millions of users. This role offers the chance to make strategic decisions that shape our infrastructure and to drive innovation in an environment of continuous deployment.

Key Responsibilities

• Architect and manage cloud infrastructure across Vercel, Cloudflare, and MongoDB Atlas.
• Design robust monitoring solutions using tools like DataDog or BetterStack.
• Implement Infrastructure as Code following modern best practices.
• Optimize cloud service usage for cost efficiency and scalability.
• Build and maintain automated CI/CD pipelines with GitHub Actions.
• Define and implement platform scalability and reliability strategies.
• Mentor team members in platform engineering best practices.
• Ensure 99.99%+ uptime across all production services.
• Drive platform security, adhering to best practices and compliance standards.

What We’re Looking For

• Extensive experience with Vercel, Cloudflare, and MongoDB Atlas.
• Proven expertise in building and maintaining automated CI/CD pipelines.
• Strong knowledge of observability tools, with experience in DataDog or BetterStack.
• A successful track record in architecting systems for millions of users.
• Deep understanding of security best practices and compliance.
• Experience mentoring and developing engineering teams.
• A passion for reliability, automation, and continuous improvement.
• 7+ years of experience in platform or infrastructure engineering.
